I wanted to share this cool iPhone app I found called PicFrame. It helps you make a collage of photos right from your phone that you can then save into your photo library or share via email or social networking sites (like Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or Tumbler). I've found that its really easy to use and offers quite a bit of versatility.
I love this idea because I think one of the major drawbacks of the iPhone is emailing photos. I have to email each photo individually versus adding several photo attachments to one email (or maybe I just don't know how to do it!!). Sure, I can text several at a time but sometimes I need to email them. This app allows me to tell a story through a cool, polished collage while being able to fit several photos into one photo file which I can email.
You can make a PicFrame collage using from one to four photos in a variety of configurations. Once you've picked the frame you like, you can adjust the frame sizes and the corners to your preference. Then you just click on a photo space and either take a picture or choose a photo within your photo library to add it to the collage. Once you've picked all the photos, you can again adjust the frames as needed or even go back and pick a new configuration without losing the photos you've already chosen. Once you're satisfied with the photos and frames, you can change the style of the frames. They offer a variety of colors, patterns, and textures. Then all you do is save and/or share with family and friends!
I made the collage below from our day at Silverwood Theme Park in North Idaho yesterday. It took me 2 minutes this morning - pretty cool, huh?
If you found this post useful or interesting, please share this with family and friends, and send me some love!
Happy Shooting!
