Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my 365 blog!

{If you'd like to visit my portrait photography website, click here.}

I'm a mom of 2 kids and have been a photographer for over 4 years. I decided to task myself with doing a 365 {or rather 366} photo project for 2012. I will take a photograph every day, with my "big girl camera". It will mostly be about my life, portrayed artistically. I want to challenge myself creatively and try new things. I'm excited about where this project will take me and I hope you will follow the journey with me!

Baby Tate & Little Miss Fiona (aka Sunshine)

Miss Fiona welcomed her baby brother into the world in the middle of November.  She's already such a sweet big sister!  I had the pleasure of photographing baby Tate,  Miss Fiona, and their parents (also good friends of ours) when Tate was only 2 weeks old.  Fiona is now 2, and very much enjoyed getting her photo taken outside vs. inside with all the lights.  Isn't she beautiful?!

Below are my favorites from the shoot:

Little Ellie - soon to be Big Sister Ellie 11.21.09

This doll (and her family) is another new customer of mine.  She is two and all that goes with it - she likes to have fun, run, and play, but only with those she knows - certainly not with a photographer!  She will be a big sister in a few more months, so I'll give you an update on this growing family again soon.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Sweet Annika - Nov. 3rd Shoot

Look at those baby blues!  This little 3-month-old is a new client of mine.  She was a great little subject, although her parents were a little bummed she didn't smile more.  I don't mind a serious baby....aren't the shots still precious without a smile?

Boise Shoot in October

Better late than never......

So I'm very overdue on this, but as promised, here are a few of my favorite photos from the Boise Photo Shoot back in October.  The outdoor shots were either photographed in my friend Robin's backyard or at this great park near downtown called Kathryn Albertson Park.
