Sweet Annika - Nov. 3rd Shoot

Look at those baby blues!  This little 3-month-old is a new client of mine.  She was a great little subject, although her parents were a little bummed she didn't smile more.  I don't mind a serious baby....aren't the shots still precious without a smile?

Boise Shoot in October

Better late than never......

So I'm very overdue on this, but as promised, here are a few of my favorite photos from the Boise Photo Shoot back in October.  The outdoor shots were either photographed in my friend Robin's backyard or at this great park near downtown called Kathryn Albertson Park.

Fun with backdrops and Fall colors!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the changing of the seasons!  I love taking pictures in the Fall, recording the change happening - and boy, have I been taking a lot of photos.  And, I'm happy to tell you, I've finally upgraded my camera - YAY!  I have the new Canon 5D Mark II, and so far it is sweet.  I get to test it out in Boise this weekend, so I'll update you with some photos from the new rig next post.

Below are a few of my favorite shots from a couple families I have the privilege of photographing every year.  So beautiful.

Hello everyone!

Hope this beautiful (although unorthodox) Fall is treating you well!  I'm in full-photo-mode this season taking pictures of fantastic kids, and booking sessions further out than ever before.  Thank you for your support!  It proves to be exciting but quite conflicting, trying to manage my time between staying home with the kids and furthering my business and photo expertise - but I LOVE it!

So meet the twins, Danny and Callie.  They just turned 2!  They proved to be quite a challenge in the sit-still-and-hug category, nonetheless, they were very fun to photograph.

Evan's Shoot in June

Little Evan was about 6 months old in these photos.  What a fun age!  He's having a good time, doesn't mind the minor props, and is SO into watching and interacting with his parents it was easy to get some great expressions - plus at this age, he doesn't move much yet!!

So I've included a few of my favorites: beautiful shot with Dad, Mom (look at her beaming even though she's still carrying on with little-to-no sleep), a range of Evan's expressions, and a whole lotta buns.

They are personal friends and were so much fun to work with.  Thank you for the opportunity!
